We are pleased to announce that Workman Gardens will see the return of the Evesham River Festival on the weekend of the 10th – 12th of July 2015.

med2Medieval Theme

Following on from previous years’ successes, we have begun preparations for the 2015  festival. This year’s theme is ‘medieval’ and  coincides with the 850th Anniversary of Battle of Evesham (1265).

Overnight Security

There will be more overnight security and the council have brought in new powers for the police to address these issues.

2015 Programme

The full 2015 programme will follow shortly. The 2014 programme of activities included flypasts by a Dakota, illuminated boat parade, live music,  morris dancing, boat demonstrations, boating competitions and much more. The festival is famous for its fancy dress, both for people and the boats. With fairground rides and activities like bouncy castles, there was plenty of extra things for the children to do.  Also found were a range of stalls which includes a beer tent, various food outlets and crafts.

Application forms will available soon.
