March 5, 2017
While having a wonderful time and enjoying the music that you love is always the primary objective, it is also important to always remain safe. Even if you are a very safety conscious person and you are able to apply this at events and festivals, your friends may not be in the same boat. It is important to remain safe while also having fun. Following are some ways to stay safe at a music festival
- Look out for your friends
If you come in a group it is important for everyone to stick together. If you get lost it is a good idea to have a plan. When there are many people it is very easy to get lost it is of fundamental importance to prearrange everything with your group of friends. For example you could all meet back at a certain tree at a certain time.
- Be aware of substances
If you and your friends would like to enjoy a few drinks then you need to make sure that you all look out for one another. You should be honest with each other as best as possible in order to avoid injuries and problematic situations.
- Take a first aid kit
One of the best things that you can take with you to a music festival when you are with friends is a first aid kit. You should also ensure that you have the relevant bandages and medicines that you may need. Although there are medics on site they may not always be around when you need them.
- Make use of medics
At most festivals there are usually a team of safety people, emergency staff and medical professionals. If you have any cause for alarm at any point it is best to consult a professional. If one of your friends is scared to consult a professional for any reason such as drinking too much alcohol, rather go against your friend for their health and safety.
